| SmarTire (Gen2) |
SmarTire is a tire pressure and temperature monitoring system.
There are sensors in each tire that transmit info back to a control module on the dash.
From there you can browse through the pressure and temperature readings in each tire.
It will also warn the driver of low or high tire pressures and high temperatures.
These settings are customizable.

| Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 |
I replaced the Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP Runflats with these.
At first I was concerned because I had never had a good experience with Goodyear.
Fortunately that's changed!
The new tires are a lot grippier...not to mention about $65 cheaper!
The down side is a lower treadwear rating.

$640 |
| Dynamat Extreme |
It wasn't easy, and it took a lot of time, but the results are still impressive.
I used about 160 square feet on the installation.
That included the doors, the entire cabin, trunk and even the roof.
Road noise has been reduced significantly.
I had to turn the gain on the amp down because it was too loud!
|
$600 |
| SLP Spoiler |
Little more aggressive than stock, but not overdone.
|
$200 |
| Quaife Differential |
HUGE difference in traction, especially while cornering.
I haven't had a chance to take it to the 1/4 mile track (it's rained every time), but I look forward to seeing what this can do.
It has eliminated torque steer and one-wheel burnouts.

$1350 |
| McCulloch HID Kit |
The stock GP lighting....well, how do I put it....sucks.
I had been considering a HID upgrade for a while, but all of the systems needed special harnesses and wiring.
When the ClubGP Store came out with a Plug N' Play kit, I was excited!
Installation was a snap.
The hardest part was mounting the ballast and igniter to the car.
The result is a phenomenal light pattern!
They are very bright, but still don't blind oncoming traffic.
I used to rely on my fog lights to see the road....now I can hardly tell they're on!

$505 |
| BMR Lateral & Trailing Arms |
My drivers-side trailing arm was bent, so I decided to get a new (beefier) set from the ClubGP Store.
I had my local shop do it since a alignment is required afterwards.
Turns out that the exhaust needs to be removed and the rear subframe dropped to install them.
Price doesn't include installation.
|
$470 |
| Katzkin Leather Interior |
The stock leather leaves a lot to be desired, and I've never been much of a fan of perforated leather anyway.
I got the standard graphite with "Grand Prix" embroidered in red.
I also had four heated seats installed (front and back).
Price includes $30 installation
|
$1400 |
| Eibach Springs |
The GP sits a little too high for my tastes.
I installed the front springs and left the rear stock.
|
$240 |
| Next-Level Swaybars |
A heavy-duty version of the stock swaybars.
Car is MUCH flatter through corners now.
|
$280 |
| Koni Struts |
The stock struts are really showing their age.
With the Eibach's installed, the pogo is almost non-existent.
Price does not include installation (about $500 for this and the above two items.)
|
$750 |
| PowerSlot Rotors |
It was the perfect time to upgrade to the 11.9" front rotors since I had to put new pads on anyway!
I also bought a new, complete set of calipers and brackets.
Then I painted them with FoliaTec brake lacquer.
I think they turned out awesome!
You can see results on the newest pictures.
|
$550 |
| 17" Chrome Wheels & Tires |
I finally found something I liked.
Unfortunately they company only had four left and they were all painted silver.
So I had them shipped to California Chrome to be chrome plated.
The tires are Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP Runflats....245/45ZR17.
|
$2000 |
| Borla I/C Tips |
I finally had them welded on the exhaust! Pics coming soon!
|
$300 |
| SD Hood & Airbox |
What a beauty!!
The one thing that makes my car really stand out.
The price includes $650 for the paint-job.
|
$1865 |
| Strut Tower Bar |
Seems to have stiffened up the car a lot under hard cornering. |
$150 |
| GatorBack Supercharger Belt |
The 3.4" pulley was slipping quite a bit.
Haven't noticed any slippage since I installed the new belt.
|
$22 |
| Magnacor KV85 Spark Plug Wires |
I haven't noticed any difference, but they look nice and should last longer. |
$12 |
| NGK Spark Plugs |
See Magnacor Wires..... |
$80 |
| Optima Battery |
No More Dead Battery!!! |
$140 |
| RAT Stout Snout |
Picked up one at the Grand Prix Gathering '99 with a 3.4" pulley.
I must say this is the biggest power increase I've seen yet!
|
$ 350 |
| Borla Exhaust |
I love that sound! Not too little, not too much!
|
$ 550 |
| Transmission Cooler |
Failure is Bad...M-kay? |
$ 40 |
| Strobe Lights |
Two blue lightheads in the headlights, two amber lightheads in the turn signals, and two amber lightheads in the backup lights.
Switches are mounted in the *alcove* to the left of the steering wheel and overhead in the cubby.
The power supply is mounted in the trunk on the sub box (looks like an amplifier).
I use them when I respond to emergencies.
These are not decorative lights.
They are the same ones used in under-cover police cars.
|
$1750 |
| Signal Mirrors!! |
Replacement side mirrors with Turn Signal indicators built in from K.W. Muth Mirror Systems. |
$200 |
| Window Tinting |
I finally got around to this...and just in time for a 7 hour trip to Ohio!
Check it out, I think it looks great!
The film I purchased is Llumar Platinum Plus.
|
$225 |
| Subwoofer |
This was a pretty big project....took me about 20 hours.
That including building the box, and installing all of the equipment.
Box design was probably another 15-20 hours.
Fortunately I was able to use the JL Audio 12W6 Subwoofer and the Kicker ZR120 Amplifier from the previous installation in my 1995 Dodge Intrepid ES.

$115 |
| Disabled DRLs |
I hate these things, so I pulled the fuse!
Now I can run with only the fog lights!
Click on the words "Disabled DRLs" in the left column for more information!
